I started with Meadowsound a few years ago as a mature student. I couldn't play any musical instrument, and I couldn't read music. Shay was extremely patient and practical in moving me forward at the right pace on the alto sax. He really emphasises the basics but is practical in the need to show progress. Shay is a professional musician to the core and the whole experience has opened up a new world for me. I can now play complex pieces from music sheets, I have my own sound, and I've even performed! I'd highly recommend Meadowsound.

My 14yr old Son has been a student of Meadowsound for two years now. Having had the choice of other schools He is so happy here and has found a special bond with his teacher.
We find the school is most accomadating with time schedules, and will always try and fit back classes that Daniel has missed. This is quite unique I feel.
Daniel started an hr long class this year which has been of great value.
Another wonderful asset for the school is its accessabilty. Daniel gets the bus from school and after a short walk is there safely.
I find as a parent, the most important thing for my children while encouraging music is how happy they are without any pressure. My son has found this at Meadowsound and his grades reflect this.
